SYNERA®: A Peel and stick PRECEDURAL Pain Patch

Peel-and-stick SYNERA® is a topical anesthetic patch designed to help numb intact skin prior to minor needle procedures and is approved for kids aged 3 and older1,3:

Needle procedures and your child
Needle procedures are a necessary part of medical care and can be a major source of pain for many children 4. For example, needles are used to draw blood or insert an intravenous (IV) line. Blood is used for lab tests. An IV line sends fluid or medicine into the body through the bloodstream. There are things that you and your healthcare professional can do to help lessen the pain children often have with these kinds of procedures.

Things that can help
A combination of nonmedical and medical techniques may help your child with the pain of needle procedures.
